🏞️ Canyonlands National Park: Adventure Edition
This park is wild, vast, and layered with silence and stone. We explored Island in the Sky, hiked through canyons, and took on one of the most thrilling drives of our trip. Canyonlands is for those who crave big views, remote trails, and the kind of adventure that makes your heart race.

🧠Our Tips
- Shafer Trail is next-level: This was the highlight of our Moab trip—our first real off-road adventure, and it was unforgettable. The switchbacks are steep, the drop-offs are real, and the views are unreal. Take it slow, stay focused, and soak it all in.
- Start early: Sunrise at Mesa Arch is iconic for a reason. The light is magical, and the trail is peaceful before 7:30 AM.
- Fuel up and stock up: There’s no gas, food, or water in the park. Bring more than you think you’ll need.
- Check road conditions: Especially if you’re doing Shafer Trail or any dirt roads. Conditions can change fast.
- Layer up: Mornings are chilly, afternoons are hot. Light layers and sun protection are key.
- Use the bathrooms when you see them: Facilities are limited and spaced far apart.
- Don’t rush: Canyonlands is about space, silence, and scale. Let it sink in.
